Mike founded Shore Shutters in 2015 as a completely independent business based in West Sussex. Our aim then as now, is to provide a level of craftmanship, quality and care that the big companies cannot match. We pay attention to the details that others miss.

Easy to clean

Shutters don't hold dust and with no strings or fabric can be quickly spruced up with a duster or damp cloth. They have a solid construction that is built to last for years so you can just sit back and enjoy them.

Control of light

Shutters are more versatile than other window coverings, allowing as much or as little light as you like. The louvres can be closed fully for darkness, and a blackout option is available for the lightest sleepers. During the day you can adjust the louvres for maximum light and even control the top and bottom separately. We offer different louvre sizes, but recommend larger ones for the most light.

Privacy

Plantation shutters not only make your home more stylish, they also increase privacy and act as a security deterrent. With a turn of the louvres people won't be able to see in but the shutters will still allow light in.
